Free Online Music Player with Equalizer
Play local MP3s in your browser with a 10-band equalizer, bass boost, audio visualizer, custom presets and playlists. No installation, nothing uploaded.
Play Local Music Files Online
Drop MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC or OGG files on the page, pick them with Add files, or add a whole folder in Chrome and Edge. BeatFlow reads the title, artist, album, track number and cover art from the files and plays them straight from your device. Shuffle, repeat one or all, change speed, drag tracks to reorder the queue, mark favorites and build playlists you can export as M3U or JSON. Files that the browser can't play are listed with a reason instead of failing silently.
10-Band Equalizer and Bass Boost
The equalizer has ten bands from 31 Hz to 16 kHz, each adjustable from −12 to +12 dB, with presets such as Bass Boost, Deep Bass, Vocal Clarity, Podcast, Rock, Jazz and Hip-Hop and your own saved presets. The bass panel adds a low-shelf boost with an adjustable frequency plus sub-bass and mid-bass controls. Changes are smooth and immediate while the music plays, the output is lowered automatically when boosts stack up, and a limiter catches peaks; a warning appears when a boost may still distort. The Effects Studio adds a compressor, balance, reverb and crossfade between tracks.
Visualizer, Shortcuts and Privacy
A visualizer draws the real playing audio as spectrum bars, a waveform, a circle or a minimal line, with stereo meters and a fullscreen mode; it pauses with the music and has a performance mode and respects reduced-motion settings. Keyboard shortcuts cover playback, seeking, volume and skipping. Your music is never uploaded: only settings and playlist names are kept in this browser, and the effects change what you hear, not your files. To save a copy with the EQ applied, use the Equalizer tool.
Frequently asked questions
- Are my music files uploaded?
- No. BeatFlow plays the files straight from your device in the browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and only your settings and playlist names are saved in this browser.
- Which formats can it play?
- MP3, WAV and AAC/M4A play in all current browsers. FLAC works in current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari. OGG and Opus depend on the browser, and older Safari versions can't play them. If a file can't be played, BeatFlow tells you instead of skipping silently.
- How does the bass boost work?
- It is a low-shelf filter that raises frequencies below the point you choose (40–200 Hz), with optional sub-bass and mid-bass controls. The volume is lowered a little automatically when boosts stack up, and a limiter catches peaks, but very large boosts can still distort on small speakers.
- Will my playlist be there next time?
- Playlist names, track lists, favorites and EQ settings are saved in this browser. In Chrome and Edge you can reopen the same files with one click after allowing access; in other browsers add the files again and playlists re-match them by file name.
- Does it change my music files?
- No. The equalizer and effects apply while playing. To save a copy with EQ and bass applied, use the Equalizer tool.
- Are there keyboard shortcuts?
- Yes: Space plays or pauses, the left and right arrows seek, up and down change volume, N and P skip tracks, M mutes, S shuffles, R changes repeat, F opens the fullscreen visualizer and ? lists them all.
